Does your Technical Manager have a formal qualification in Concrete Technology?

The Irish Concrete Society have launched a new course on Fundamentals of Concrete Technology, starting on the 7th September 2018 in UCD.

The course will provide participants with essential information on concrete technology and construction. The programme includes two half-days of lectures and a half-day on site, time also spent in a civil engineering laboratory carrying out some common tests. Participants also have the opportunity to sit the Institute of Concrete Technology’s Stage 1 exam.

This scheme enables technicians, operatives and batch plant supervisors to achieve a formal certificate in recognition of their success in mastering the basic objectives of activities in the concrete industry. It also serves as the first step for new recruits heading for management in the technology of concrete production.
