Gerry FarrellChief Executive Officer
Gerry is Chief Executive Officer of the Irish Concrete Federation, a post he assumed in September 2008. Prior to joining the Irish Concrete Federation Gerry was Director of Industrial Products with IBEC, the Irish Business and Employers Confederation. Previously he was an Executive with Food and Drink Industry Ireland, a business sector within IBEC. Gerry holds a Degree in Agricultural Science, a Diploma in Public Relations and a Diploma in Financial Management.
Diane O’DonoghuePersonal Assistant to CEO
Diane joined the ICF in March 2006. Diane’s role as Personal Assistant involves providing executive support as well as organising and managing ICF events throughout the year. Diane was previously Personal Assistant at Transport Components, Dublin and at Gallaher Group, Weybridge, UK
Patricia Craig Financial Controller
Patricia joined the ICF in 2011 on a part time basis and has been full time since 2014. Patricia was previously employed by Pierse Contracting Limited from November 1989 to November 2010. Patricia graduated from DCU in 1986 with a Bachelor of Business Studies and graduated as a Qualified ACCA in 1989.
Charles MountICF Project Archaeologist
Dr Charles Mount is Project Archaeologist with ICF where he is responsible for implementing a Code of Practice agreed with Government as well as the procurement of archaeological services and project management of archaeological investigations in quarries and concrete companies located throughout Ireland. Education includes, B.A. in Archaeology and Greek and Roman Civilization, M.A. in Archaeology, Ph.D. in Archaeology, MBA. Open University Business School and Diploma in EIA and SEA Management. Charles has been involved with assessment of archaeological impacts and the management of archaeological projects within the government, semi-state and private sector. Charles previously worked with the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
Gwen SynnottMarketing & Communications Administrator
Gwen’s role as Marketing and Communications Administrator involves overseeing all advertising campaigns, social media, wordpress, and ensuring our members are well informed. Gwen’s has a wealth of PR & Marketing experience, her previous roles include, Marketing & Communications Manager with Temple Street Children’s Hospital, (TSCH) IMAGE Publications, and The Mirror Group Newspapers (Reach plc). Gwen holds a Diploma in Business & Communication’s a Diploma in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
