Sustainability was again to the fore at an ICF Management Seminar which preceded the Federation’s Annual General Meeting in November. ICF members received presentations on the draft green procurement recommendations for cement and concrete in public projects and the regulatory developments, challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the cement and concrete industry. Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland also made a presentation on the Authority’s supports to business for energy and emissions reductions.
In addition, ICF members received a presentation on Ireland’s economic outlook from the Economic and Social Research Institute and an update on labour market developments from Stratis Consulting.
