At an ICF Management Seminar which preceded the Federation’s Annual General Meeting in November, ICF members received a presentation from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland on the Authority’s supports to business for energy and emissions reductions. ICF members are already taking steps to reduce emissions from energy usage, particularly given the massive increases in energy costs experienced by business throughout 2022. Attendees at the management seminar also received a presentation from ICF member, Banagher Precast Concrete in Co Offaly on the company’s installation of a 75 KW Solar PV system in late 2021.

At the seminar the National Building Control Office gave a presentation on it’s Market Surveillance Programme for construction products with regard to compliance with the Construction Products Regulation.

In addition, ICF members received a presentation on Ireland’s economic outlook from the Economic and Social Research Institute and an update on labour market developments from Stratis Consulting.

All the presentations from the seminar are available to ICF members in the members area of the ICF website.
